Buttonhole badges
 

I am currently sorting out some of my Cambridgeshire Regt badges and have several buttonhole type badges among them, apart from making a hole in the board and screwing the badge in is their any other ways of fixing these awkward items?

You might try mounting them on a cloth square and then gluing that to the board?

Alan, that is not a bad idea, I will give it a go.

I had an idea some time ago regarding your problem, I thought about going to a dress maker and asking if they could sew say twenty button holes in a piece of cloth, which could then be mounted in a frame, but I never got round to it.
