REME flash?

Hi folks

This recently arrived which I thought was a REME pagri flash, but it looks too small, 40x40mm

If it is indeed REME might it be one of those small flashes worn on Battledress below the cloth titles by some units?

Looks like a Airborne REME unit DZ flash but too small.....

If you click on the image the size is about right for a Airborne DZ Flash.

It sounds about the size of a Belgium forces in exile arm badge worn on the right shoulder.
