Commando badge?

Is this a good example? I suspect not.

Not correct at all in my opinion.

Cheers,

Why would an incomplete example like this merit the good or no good test?
Seller seems to turn up regularly in threads like this, that ought to be a sign?

Hi Thomas, I quess that IS the point. These are out of my area of expertise, just wanted some further opinions.

Not as bad as some fakes, would need better image of remaining lug. The definitive lug for ME Cdo in flat metal, bent over, ends set into casting.
I prefer cast examples with 'spattering' to reverse, and am wary of other variants unless attributed (I do have a few variants though).
Mike
PS - The badge was issued to 50, 51 and 52 ME Cdo - but found its way to other unit headdress too, the later ME Commando included.
