115 ATU El Arish, again

I wonder is anyone might speculate on the meaning/origin of this RCAF 115 ATU blazer patch I recently picked up. I have never seen the center portion represented anywhere and to be honest, I’m not sure what it represents. Any thoughts?? It could be a hieroglyph of a man, with a blue cap and hood, hoisting a flail over his head? Symbolically, that may represent force or effort. Not sure if the gold ball on top is supposed to be the sun or why the tailor quit the concentric circles ¾’s of the way around. Any Egyptologists in the group? Has anyone seen this design before?

115 ATU was a multi-country, UN outpost in El Arish, Egypt from the late 50’s to mid 60’s.
Here’s a great resource: http://www.115atu.ca/gaz-ela.htm I’ve added info to that web page from my dad’s tour there in 61/62.

It could be a representation of the Egyptian God Horus.

At first I thought it was a penguin moving traffic cones :o:D

Thanks for your thoughts guys. I'm leading a bit more towards Horus over the penguin but you never know. It could even be Ra perhaps. Still no idea if it was a general blazer patch or a one-off. Another of life's mysteries I guess.
