Recently acquired an Officer’s- collar? - or a Cap badge?

Just finished cleaning it, and Enamelling actually looks Purple/Blue colour and not a dirty black as it was before starting, in truth the whole badge has come up nice! am not mucking about with the lugs! The length of which makes me think Cap badge than collar?

If anyone has information on this badge am happy to have it, am I jumping to conclusions in my thought’s!

Many thanks in advance Billy

It a nice example of the Royal Lincs cap badge Billy. There are a number of different makers and many differ in the appearance of the Sphinx and the mode of construction. Your lugs are the correct length for the cap as opposed to the collar, cheers Dean
