Thats very interesting as it shows that the badges were wartime produced and available to be worn from VE day rather than as I had read elsewhere only produced after the war as a type of OCA badge.

Auxilliary units personnel

I have read that when the SAS was expanded for operations in europe some personnel from the Auxilliary units joined them.

Is there any records of this?

Rob

Yes, it is well-known and recorded in books on the subject, such as Fire From The Forest by Roger Ford etc.
