Royal Canadian Engineers, 1st Canadian Corps

This cloth badge came in a job lot of badges and appears to be for the Royal Canadian Engineers who served with the 1st Canadian Corps. However I cannot find a photograph of this badge that doesn't have full stops to the right of each initial. Are there known examples of my badge or is it a fake?

The badge will be offered for sale if it is correct as it is outside of my collecting interest.

Nothing wrong with that patch. The presence or absence of periods does not indicate phoney or good; both were made.
