5th ALH AIF question

Have Gaunt marked 5th Light Horse AIF collars been much faked, or are they still likely to be original? Pardon my ignorance on the topic but I've never really pursued the field of WW1 unofficial badges. Any tutoring will be appreciated!

I've never come across any fakes with the Gaunt tab.

The only fakes I have seen are the cast copies with the gaunt plaque cast into the badge.
If you can post a pic that will help.
There not a rare badge but would class as uncommon
