gday, ive just joined 5the forum and thought i would introduce my self, ive been collecting medals for a while now and often come across badges from diffent areas of the AIF and ADF, thus my collection is begining to take a turn towards insignia.i aim more for ww1 but all campains are welcome. I was wondering if anyone can help me find some badges from the twelth out of Tasmania, my Grandad joined up and fought in france and i would like to see some of the memoriabelia thats out there

The 12th Battalion AIF only wore the General Service hat badge (Rising Sun badge). The a colour patch to distinguish them from other battalions.

I might be able to get a 1953-60 period 12th Battalion (Launceston Regiment) badge for you.
