RAF Doctor Plastic patch

A fellow member kindly sent me this little goodie and I have been trying to find out what, when and where it was worn, i.e. what uniform, but so far have had no luck. Can someone advise me on this and maybe have a picture or link to one. I know they are valid patches, and also there are ones for Nurses and I believe Paramedics.

Thanks,

Hi Terry , have you asked on GMIC website ?

Found a thread that would be of interest to you (if you've not already seen it).

Anyone interested in Medical insignia collecting??

Thanks Mike,

I am aware of that site and the reference you link. I ahve tried numerous times to join it, but always encounter problems in trying to establish a password. I'll try again. I'll try again.

And love the collection your link is to!

Found a description , don't know if it is accurate .

Raf Doctor, Lettering, Patch For Yellow Warning Jacket, Reflective, 100x300mm

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152902920...6&toolid=10001

Edit : Have seen similar 'reflective' badges for High-Vis jackets , can be sewn on or slotted into clear breast pocket.

Terry
Look in my book and you will see a whole range of these items. They are for wear on hi-vis jackets, the large size on the back and the smaller one on the left breast.

Terry,

as Dave said they are for wear on the Hi-Vis jacket and are currently worn as I saw one today :)
