Just to say hello as I am new to this forum. My collecting interest is British Cap Badges. My interest started when I was around 8 years old and my Father was stationed in Osnabruck Germany with the BAOR. His Corps was the Royal Engineers. Sadly all those badges I collected from the squaddies back then are now long gone.

Welcome to the forum, If you would like to see some RE badges please take a look in my albums, there are a few in there and I have quite a few more to follow (hopefully soon).

Member engr9266 is also a keen RE collector as his albums will show you.

Are you interested in starting a new RE collection? If so it is a good one to start as on the whole the badges from all periods are fairly well available at a reasonable cost.

Hi Sappersson, my Father was an RE and his was the first badge I collected, that was a long time ago, but a good unit to start with.

Hello and welcome sappersson my grandfather was in the Royal Engineers
in ww2 and he started my interest in militaria many years ago
