Unusual Observer Corps Lapel Badge
 

I have just stumbled across a variant of the Observer Corps (pre 1941) lapel badge with a much darker border than usual and more defined beacon lighter in the middle. Has anyone seen one of these for real? (even better - does anyone have one to spare?) I have attached 2 images, one slightly larger of the badge of itself and a second showing it in comparison to a variant of the more usual lapel badge.
