Static Light Anti-Aircraft Units, 1943-1945: Author. GRO 672/1943, 17.9.1943. Worn by the following types of units: 112th and 114th Aust. LAA Regiments; LAA Batteries (Static); LAA Troops (Static).

No sign of it existing in WW1 on my chart.

A WW2 anti-aircraft artillery patch which could be worn any one of four different ways to represent quite a number of units.

If you have a strong interest in Australian colour patches, then I recommend the following two books.

The Glyde book is becoming quite hard to find and expensive these days.

I'm hoping he changes his mind and does a reprint of it.

Fred ,

The point of the V could point right or left with the patch vertical and with the patch horizontal either up or down.
They also are in two different sizes.

The gray back is for the A.I.F. most of the patches would not have that.

Sorry about the poor quality but it's from a much copied late 1945 reference document. Mike
