Cannot find this specific pattern in any of my books, obviously an Irish badge but whose? Size approx. 65 x 40 mm.

Its an NCO's arm badge worn by the Irish Cavalry Regiments - 5th Lancers & 8th Hussars.

Also worn by the 16th/5th Lancers upto amalgamation with 17th/21st Lancers in 1993.
