Purchased QARANC badge

Gordon,
These were a collectors set and not issue items. Alan |

I have a Royal Military Police badge with N/S blades.
Alan, Can you say when they were issued as a collection and by who and was it it for a promotion of some sort?? Jerry |

Made by the Danbury Mint, USA as a commercial undertaking. Regards Chris |
In the 1970's the Franklin Mint reproduced a collectors set of military cap badges comprising of British Infantry & Corps badges.
I have a RAOC example with North & South Blades as described. |

Here is the original advert from a Sunday Supplement Magazine. The badges cost £9.98 each! So 80 x £9.98 = £798.40 for the set but that included two "dark oak military frames"!
