Gentlemen
I would like to share this nice badge 2 inch wide so I assume cap badge it is slightly vaulted as well.
Kind regards Chay

Very nice! As a collector of Customs badges I appreciate seeing it, and one which I've not previously had sight of.

The whole island prior to it ceasing to be a Colony. The SBA have a different badge for their wallet. The cap badge has always been of the HM C & E design in bullion wire. See photo of the current warrant badge.

Thanks for the answer Dave.
What would this badge be for? It is cap size.
ps Can I copy the SBA badge please?

Jerry,

I can't identify your very attractive badge. It could be a pre. 1960 Customs badge, but I would have expected it to actually say "Cyprus Customs". Please feel free to copy the SBA warrant badge image.

Dave.

Is it not an officers beret badge for the Cyprus Regiment?

Thanks Simon, I did not think about The Cyprus Regt for this badge. I will have to investigate.
jerry

P.S. I have searched for The Cyprus Regt but only found metal badges & a "plastic" badge BUT no Bullion badge.

The Cyprus Regiment was raised in 1940 and disbanded in 1950 so there were no QC badges.
