Purchased a second hand paperback, 'From the city, from the plough' by Alexander Baron, 5th printing,1956. fiction based on his experiences as an infantryman circa 1944.
Inside front cover is written, ' 4/5/57.Tpr Collingwood. 1st Troop. 1957'.

Also using a different pen. 'Tpr R. P. Collingwood. 1st Troop. 'c' Squadron'.

And using a third pen, '4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards'.

Anyone have anything relating to The Dragoon Guards and this trooper?!!
