Picked this up last week and Im delighted badge appears to be the silk embroidered version rather than the wire bullion.

Always wishing to purchase W.W.2 Royal Navy Special Forces Items Badges ,tunics, Medal groups thank you

Nice pic, thanks for sharing. Would also like to find such a badge, one day!
Only have it worn by two POs on a group pic for now,

Hi Nemo,

I realized that I did not answer you. Here you go! A zoom on two men wearing the combined ops badge, in a group of RN sailors, ww2 period I would say.
