Spotted this new "Commonwealth Pin Badge" on Poppy Shop site a couple of days ago ......... but it was 'out of stock' . Set up an e-mail alert for when it became available.

Got e-mail this morning and immediately placed order , within 1 minute it was again showing 'out of stock' and is not yet available on RBL eBay site.

Edit : I am signed up with Poppy Shop to get e-mail when new products come out but never get any information/alerts. :mad:

New pin arrived today , larger than expected but a nice one.

I really can't understand the mentality of the RBL/Poppy Shop , this badge is no longer "out of stock" .......... it is now not even showing up on their website !

There has already been the fiasco of the 2019 poppy pin and the D-Day75 pin not being sold by Poppy Shop and ending up only being available to most people on eBay for ridiculous prices (they are now being sold on eBay in 3's and even 10's !).

If they are going to produce these items then they need to have them available to RBL members and the general public . :mad:

Remember Together Lapel Pin
 

Another "commemorative" pin from RBL , price £29.99 + p&p.

"The Royal British Legion have produced this Remember Together Lapel Pin with 53 facets, representing each of the 53 Commonwealth countries."

Not one that I'll be buying , I'd rather they had made a better version of the "Commonwealth Pin Badge" as this one looks like cheap 'costume jewellery'.

It does come with a "Commemorative Certificate" dedicated to individual Commonwealth service men who lost their lives.

Although I now have the full set of dated pins I keep an eye out for bargains in joblots/mis-named items etc.

Prices for early dated pins are getting ridiculous :

Yesterday after a 'bidding war' a 2006 pin sold for £275.00 ! :eek:

Today a different seller is offering one (buy it now) for £250.00 :eek:

2007 + 2008 pins are being offered with starting prices of £70.00 each.

I may have ended up spending hours searching listings but , after checking back , I ended up getting all 3 early pins (plus other joblot stuff) for a total of just under £45.00 ! :D

Yesterday I received 4 excellent Cullybackey Branch RBL pins (Thanks Alistair , donation made) and also some 'Poppy Head' pins from London.

It seems to me that 'RBL Riders' branches have access to a lot of pins that are never available via Poppyshop which is a shame as I think they would be quite popular.

Hi I'm hoping someone can help I have been getting the dated poppy pins for my children from the year they were born. I'm looking for 1 2010 pin and 2 2012 pins. Thanks

1. RMP 2019 - Excellent pins , have from 2015.

2. TFL 2019 - 3 of this years selection.

3. "Paw" poppy - Don't know who/when it was produced.

4. Isle of Man 2019 - Have also motorbikes/triskelion with poppy wreath.

5. RBL Northern Ireland 2000 , RBL Ypres 11/11/11 , RBLS "Paisley Comrades".

I've never considered that these might be collectable!

Are the dated LPD (London Poppy Day pins) also collectable?

I need to check tomorrow, but I think I may be able to do all 3 pins in one go

Everything is collectable ! :D I only have 2 LPD pins but if I see others I'd want them.

When the first 'dated' poppy pin was produced in 2006 it probably wasn't considered "collectable" but is now going for £100+.

Well I've got them all from 2010 onwards but I'd feel a fraud looking for older ones as I wasn't there on the day...
