Help with KAR backing colours

1 Attachment(s)
Hi folks

I just got these two items, both though brown and thought to have come from someone who served in the 11th EA Division during WW2

My thought are that they are Kings African Rifles, I know the 6th wore brown under their shoulder titles.

I have also discovered that 1/6 wore Brown diamond under their cap badge,
2/6 wore a square and 4/6 wore a triangle point upwards.

But the orbat for 11Div only shows 26 KAR being present that has anything to do with 6 KAR.

Any suggestions or am I way off base?

Cheers
Sean

I have no knowledge of KAR insignia, but that second insignia, is it a representation of the Royal Welch Fusiliers "flash".
Please excuse my ignorance if it's not.

Garter flash, sorry I should have made it clear, the small one is a cap badge backing and looks like it's had a badge in it with two lugs, the other is a brown garter flash. I'm assuming from the same battalion.
Cheers
Sean
