Aircraft Instruments?

Can anyone offer any idea of what exactly these are please, and whether they can be dated, attributed to any particular type of aircraft?

Hi Leigh

Can I suggest that you send pics to either "Flypast" or "The Aeroplane" (both UK publications)? Those people (male and female) know so much about this type of thing.

Leigh,
The last photo of 'Control No 20' with a Sect/Ref No 14A/3208, is from part
of an aircraft camera system, possibly relating to film exposure control for an aircraft camera or camera flash unit exposure control.
As the Ref no is only four digits (they later became seven), it probably dates
to the 1950s or 1960s; it may have been used on PR or MR aircraft such as
the Valiant, Canberra, Shackleton or Nimrod MR.
If you can record any of the text on the other instrument, I will try to look it up (I can't see properly from the photo due to sight loss).

Hi Leigh, The round one says RPM in the centre and hundreds underneath,

so safe to say it's a rev counter.....but for which aircraft type?

I don't actually know.

Thank you, that's more information than I hoped for.
I'll check the items for serial numbers.

Thanks for that.

Control No 20 rings a bell from way back in 1966. I think I used to repair them. If I did, I will have a record of it. But you will have to wait while I find the log. Sec/ref 14A is definitely camera equipment. Probably relates to a control for the F24 5" or 8" vertical camera.

RPM indicator. Look on the back and there will be a reference number something like 6A/xxxx. Post the number and I might be able to identify it.

Same for the box with all the dials. Looks like a radio / Radar controller.

I was an Instrument Fitter, later Avionics Tech.
