Acquired this earlier in the week it appears to be the 82nd West African Division formation Sign in Silver?

It is extremely well made and appears to be unmarked silver the question is as to its use
Sweetheart badge, bush hat badge,mess Dress or mess waiters badge.

By the little I can see of it, I believe it to be a sweetheart of some sort as that brooch pin is not of the type used on military badges. Very nice.
