Power of the forum required,

A Possible Sabretache, pouch or horse furniture badge driving me bonkers
letters appear to me as P and L and D but may appear totally different to others.

Light Dragoon’s or someone’s initials

A very Sturdy item thick construction fittings to rear appear to splay out

Any thoughts suggestions welcomed

Regards

Stephen

The style , and the fittings, look like it’s from horse furniture, not military, so d could be for dairy.

Thank you
Useful though I an still seeing an L

Would B L D make any sense to any one

Their was a Blands Horse (light Dragoon’s) American war of independence period

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1st_...Light_Dragoons

Though very much doubt it would be this

Just fishing still (and probably just family initials) but has the feel of a military piece strange (early) fittings hand fretted and engraved a quality item

Regards
Stephen

Probably just me, but I can’t seem to see an ‘L’.

I don’t suppose you’d be able to highlight it in some way, Stephen, so that I could get your perspective on it?

Thanks,

JT
