Tribute to the Allied soldiers and especially to the Canadians on this August 19, 2022, 80 years ago, many did not return home...

To illustrate, here is an original German picture giving an idea of the atmosphere on the beach of Dieppe just after the surrender in the afternoon of August 19, 1942... help and relief for the wounded and the dying soldiers, the Germans seem to be looking for trophies...
On the back of the photo an inscription in German: "Dieppe, 19.8.42 brittisher Lande Versuch!" which could be translated as english landing attempt.
