I asume these date from the turn of the 20th Century when they introduced for a short time arm of service colours? Any interest as this have been in odds and sods box for 30 years+

Hi,

14th/20th Hussars wore this on collar and shoulder straps of greatcoats in WW2.

I've seen red edges on Czech officers in exile forces uniforms, but they had different pips.
