I am really pleased to add the following badges to my collection
1st is a Mathews marked Central African Standard marked silver RAR Slouch Hat badge. 2nd is a Reuteler marked silver Rhodesian Light Infantry cap badge. 3rd is a Reuteler marked silver Greys Scouts cap badge. sorry for the crap photos but im no photographer. |

Hi Loski, Very nice. I am keen on variations on Rhodesian badges & not seen the siver RLI & Greys stamped RHODESIA before. Please can you post clearer photos. Really interesting post,thanks. Dave

Hi Dave here is my collection of Rhodesian Officers badges not all are silver. I also have the corresponding other ranks badges as well.
Part 1. Pics 1,2&3 RAR Mathews of Bulawayo With Central African Standard hallmark officers slouch hat badge federation period but continued in use until 1980. Pics 4&5 RAR British Firmin with Birmingham hall mark officers beret /collar badge federation period but continued in use until 1980. Pics 6&7 Flat back RLI Reutrler MFG makers marked silver officers cap badge. Pics 8&9 Hollow back RLI unmarked silver plate officers cap badge supposed late war there is also a silver marked version. Pics 9&10 Flat back Grey's Scouts Reuteler MFG Rhodesia makers marked officers cap badge. |

Pics 1&2 Education Corps Silver and gilt Officers cap badge unmarked Possibly made by Reuteler. Pics 3&4 Service corps brass officers cap badge unmarked possibly made by Reuteler. Pics 5,6&7 Chaplains Bullion Embroidered beret badge and brass cap badge makers unknown but the bullion badge is possibly Botswana cap co and the brass badge is possibly Reuteler. Pics 8&9 Artillery gilt officers cap badge unmarked possibly made by reuetler.
