TSC - One to test the team !
 

This badge has been lying around for a long time. At first glance it looks like a cast brass Army Service Corps badge. However a fellow collector looked at it more closely and pointed out that the cypher at the centre of the badge was TSC. Transvaal Scottish Cadets or Transvaal Senior Cadets maybe ? Given that it looks like an ASC badge, it is more likely to have been Technical Services Corps. Maybe a competition among apprentices to test their skill ( first prize a double brandy and coke !)
