Gents, this badge is a similar size and design to the EAW badges.

Can anyone confirm if this is RAF and ( without stating the obvious) who wears it.

Regards all

The criteria changed in 2021 with the introduction of ACS21 (Army Cadet Syllabus 2021). What was previously “Signals” is now “CIS” (Communications and Information Systems).
The subject is compulsory as ACS21 Basic and 1 Star level (no badge awarded)
At ACS21 2 Star level it is an optional subject - “Radio” badge awarded
At ACS21 3 Star level (optional subject) - “Line” badge awarded (as the Radio badge but with the word “Line”)
At ACS21 4 Star level - Crossed Flags badge awarded

Paul,
Thanks for the update. Could it be time to replace the semaphore flags with something from the 21st century!
