Hi,
Can anyone throw any light on whether this is a military badge or not. I found it in my recently deceased mum's collection and she was married to an airman about 1940.

Its NOT a military badge and does not appear to have a military connection.

It appears to be jewellery.

Looks like a nice piece of 1930s (or deco) period jewellery. Gold or maybe gold-plated?

Agreed. The shape makes it extremely unlikely, IMO, that it is military. :(
