Cracking items.......................even though I have minimal knowledge of these items, I do appreciate quality.

Very clearly, something becomes extant at the particular point in time that it was actually manufactured, the issue here is that point in time.

manufactured. If this is the case do you have any clues as to when it was manufactured and why ? If it was made post WW2 then surely others would have appeared on the market by now as it is an extremely rare item. I am referring to the bullion cap badge not the two blazer badges. Cheers Arnhem |
LRDG badges
Interestingly no one seems able to 'nail their colours to the mast' on this, it would be nice to have some input from our resident doubters and experts .
It's one thing to make comments but clearly another to back them up. We have an LRDG expert on the forum who often speaks out regarding LRDG badges. It would be good to hear his input and also input from Frank. Cheers Arnhem |
Generalizations and statements are made on this forum regularly without the people making them supporting them with facts. It won't be the last time it happens.

Do you know if Noelene has a photo of her father wearing the hat badge? The Cecil Beaton wartime photo is also proof that the bullion cap badge existed. |
