Hi all,

Anyone fancy a trip down under to help me sort out one of my boards? Do you have much on Griff? Without your excellent reference albums and websites it would be beyond me to even consider putting them into an album.

I dare not say I’ll save it for a rainy day as we have had enough of that interstate to last for a good decade or two.

A nice little project and I might start by removing the SNH badge that tried to get in on the act.

Plenty of gaps so always something to look out for.

Cheers Dean

Lots of modern on that board Dean. There is one Firmin White Metal "Spurbone" with what I think is a curled slider for the Pagri V. Close ups of the board would be a start :)

Yes I think it is the Firmin pagri badge thanks Griff. I’ll sort through them in an album. Cheers Dean

Right...that first one is the Spurbone 1 (with the pin) ...either the Jennens or the Gaunt (same die). Is it silver (if it is there might be a hallmark in the top of the skull under the plate)? My guess would be a post 1924 Gaunt on that one.

You will have to do detailed photos of others you think might be of interest for me.... its the only way I can see them Dean.

Thanks Griff shall do the better ones tonight, cheers Dean

Dean,

Another impressive array!

I keep putting off remounting my collection(s) for a rainy day too.

I know what I want to do but SWMBO says there is no room but I l think that a rearrangement of our room of requirement would be helpful. Glum faces all round!

Chris
