Hello all ,
can I have any opinions on these two badges to the Monmouthshire Regiment, both feel OK right but what do you Welsh experts think?
Thanks Tony.

Tony,
not an expert by any stretch but your 1st Mons is a Copy IMO!! The brass badge has also been well faked... have a look in my SWB album, I've not got around to adding captions to the images yet (day job getting in the way). but most originals tend to have longer tapered sliders!

Thanks Andy, I agree on both badges, as you mention seen loads of examples of the brass badge and I would prefare a slidered version of WM badge.
Regards Tony.

Tony,
The post 1920 1st bttn is not right. It should have a slider and I'd like to see the general pattern one in the hand so to speak.
I've got a Woodward example with a tapered slider, but I've also got another example with a straight slider that I'm happy with.
Kevin
