Not as sharp as I'd hoped for. Sorry

A fantastic set! Must have taken awhile to acquire all those nice examples..
I see we both struggle with the photographic arts! I need to invest in a tripod methinks... Cheers Adam |
Jim:
This unit isn't my cup of tea but can you advise what the value of the darker collar at the top might be. I know a guy who has a single one facing right but don't have a clue as to value. Thanks, Hugh |
Hi guys, your problem Jim is that you moved slightly forward when you took your photo. A tripod would help and better lighting but basically the easiest thing to do is to set your camera to the macro setting - the flower icon on the top dial.
Next, body position is important. Try placing the frame on the floor and add light while using your body as a tripod. Like shooting a rifle, breath, hold and press the button. You can't anticipate the shot as you will move and blur the image. I guess here is where I admit that I'm also a camera geek:) Try it, practice make perfect! Greg |
As to the value of the 25th Brant collar... If I remember right I think I paid $35 for it and I figure I did O.K.... Greg.. I cured my photo problems by using a tripod and using the Macro feature... thanks... maybe I'll reshoot those badges

JIm this is a very impessive assortment of 2/10 Dragoon badges, please post the new photo, it will do the set so much more justice IMO.

I broke down the frame and took pictures more per unit basis. I also used a dark green backround for contrast.. 2nd dragoons is up first. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...cavalry032.jpg
