In brass, two strung bugle horns overlapped and strings entwined. This example 56mm wide by 37mm tall. Also in cloth.

Bugler proficiency badge used by rifle regiments. Worn on the upper right sleeve. According to Edwards and Langley ‘British Amy Proficiency Badges‘ also worn as part of the Colour Sergeants of Rifles rank badge for an undefined period from 1877.
