Canadian Chaplain Service 1st Canadian Corps

Canadian Chaplain Service, first pattern formation patch. All personnel of this corps were officers. When the Canadian Corps was organized in the UK, corps and services were to use their appropriate corps colour as the field colour. Chaplains used their purple colour. When the First Canadian Army was organized, the Canadian Corps was redesignated as 1 Cdn Corps, and all patches were to be on red. 2 Cdn Corps were to be on a blue field.
