The badge of 19 mech brigade was known as the “Puking Panther” as the brigade badge is a black panther breathing fire.
The brigade badge changed to a red background with a black edging. I served with the brigade signal squadron and issued the flashes upon soldiers being posted in. I served with them between 1993 and 1999 in Catterick.
