12th Canadian Armoured Regiment

A wreath of maple leaves surrounding a shield decorated with a chevron, fleur-de-lys and three fish. Above a beaver, below a scroll inscribed Deus Nobiscum Quis Contra*. Shield and scroll in chrome or white metal, the rest in gilt brass. These examples with two clutch pin fixings to the reverse. 25mm tall, 25.5 mm wide.
Beavers face towards the collar opening.
