ELGIN REGIMENT WW2
An example of a WW2 title for the ELGIN REGIMENT. The title is English made with the diagonal embroidery and white cotton backing. Elgin titles can be a bit of fun. Most dealers just dump them all together, as they all look alike. But knowing the manufacturing characteristics can lead to some nice acquisitions.

I can see it's English made allright but how can you tell it's WW2, I imagine they've made them since the war with linen back. No?

After the war, Canadian titles were sourced from Canadian manufacturers. Few runs of titles were bought in the UK once the units were back in Canada.
