Very difficult to tell a fake from a legit one in my opinion.

Camel Corps badges have been heavily faked over the years and is generally one badge I would not consider buying for this very reason.

hey jack
there are die struck examples (from memory 2 types exist) and there are the cast badges.
hard to tell if any cast badge is legit but the accepted genuine die struck versions haven't been faked as yet. to my knowledge anyway.

Thanks guys ,the one I'm after is die struck as cast one's would be hard to prove unless with excellent providence. But were the die struck made in oz or O/S ? and does any one have examples either good or bad in any format?

Cheers

a cast (pic 1) and die struck (pic 2) version.
i believe the die struck version genuine as my one came from a deceased estate camel corps chap and i have a friend who has his great uncles camel corps medals and badge, which is like this one
