Looks a nice badge to me. Not sure of what general opinion is on Lambourne marks at the moment-perhaps this is a second good mark? Regards, Paul.

Looks like Alison's 1st badge- http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...php?query=tank corps
The tread on the tracks front of the tank looks at an odd angle and the fittings on the front of each track horn are not in line- though not the bad spanner shape. We could do with some other import from someone who knows tank terminology and collects TC!

Just had a thought. The makers stamp reads "Lambournes Birmingham" so there is no Co on the end.So I described it slightly wrong.

A very nice, original badge

Lambourne had two MM's on their sliders. The one you show and the LAMBOURNE & Co BIRMINGHAM. There is also a plate I believe.

I think there was a thread some time back that suggested that the MM you show is slightly later than the other? I am not knowledgeable enough to comment on that though.
