Very nice badge, Julian, worth in the region of £100. Ws are most likely collars, given the lugs.

Very jealous.

Regards,

Phil

The W would have been worn by the female officers with there "collar" number ie W1234.
Nice badge's to have
I recently brought one of these after a long time trying to get one.

Hello Julian,

I really can't add any more to the comments already made, but just wanted to write and congratulate you on a lovely badge. These non military war-time badges are a fascinating top. Well done indeed.

Best wishes, Roy

Ha Ha Jerry wishes

I believe that particular set belongs to 'Altcar73'.

Is this evidense that white metal (pre 1908 volunteer style) general service buttons continued to be manufactured after 1908?

Regards
Rob.
