This manufacturer was founded in 1869 in Germany and was highly regarded as a high quality silversmith. He appears to have been particularly successful in the late 19th Century and there are many pieces of Art Noveau silverware which are considered to be both attractive and collectible. THe company produces a wide range of silverware products and took commissions from both military and domestic customers. Sorry, this all that I could find. Hope it is of some help.

It’s a cigarette case.
The engraving would indicate that it was awarded as a prize for shooting.
