Very nice to see the set Jonathan - was the WM title also worn on the Blue Patrol jacket and not just by bandsmen or is this mythology

Cheers Dean

Good afternoon Dean.

All the walking out blue's uniforms I have seen for the Glamorgan Yeo had brass s/t and also had it confirmed by someone that was is the Glam Yeo (said he had brass s/t).

Also with the Glam Yeo their bandsman did have diff dress colours being red piping and trouser stripes and red banding to the pill box hat where as the rest of the unit had white instead of red.

Other units/regiments may have worn w/m on their blues which I'm sure others on the forum can confirm if worn or not.

Ta

Jonathan.

Thanks for addresssing this Jonathan and most interesting. Am sure some Yeomanry regiments wore WM shoulder titles on blue patrols but certainly not universal, the proportion of WM ones I have seen verses GM Seoul’s not equate to use by bandsman alone IMO, cheers Dean.
