Hello Jake,

The printed version was originally worn by members of the 19th Infantry Brigade during the 1950s, it was later worn again between 1996 and 1997 by members of 19th Mechanised Brigade.

My thanks for all the replies to Jacob's question.

Jacob is my grandson and just starting on this hobby so such helpful replies will no doubt encourage him to become a well-informed younger member of our fraternity able to carry on our collecting interest into a new generation of collectors.

He has already been given great support with his collecting from the members of the Military Heraldry Society who donated quite a few badges to his collection and has learned a great deal from Marc's (54Bty) book.

Keep up the good work please.

Jon

Jacob.

It is very refreshing to see young newcomers with an interest in this field.

It is a fantastic "Hobby" and one which I'm sure will both delight you and at times frustrate you.

I'm sure you'll receive a great deal assistance from Forum Members.

Introduce some of your friends to the Hobby...................but try not let them collect the same items as you.

Wishing you well for the future in your quest for knowledge and badges.

Regards.

Brian
