Default Canadian Highlanders but which one?

These two post cards were found in an antique shop in Wales. The first CSM has no visible cap badge but is wearing maple leaf collar badges. His lady friend is wearing a maple leaf sweetheart badge. His sporran seems to have the letters R.H.C. impressed into the leather cantle. Could it represent Royal Highlanders of Canada C/13 as I can find nothing else that fits the initials?

The second photograph has no obvious clues as to the regiment that I can see.

Hi HW. I think you have it with the RHC. Royal Highlanders of Canada. There were three battalions of the RHC in the CEF. That was the 13th, 42nd, and 73rd. The 73rd had a unique sporran with 73 stamped in the leather, so I don't think it is for that Battalion. The feather bonnets were also worn by the three battalions, so it is a bit of a guess which one it may be.

Thank you Bill for your informative reply. It is a shame there are no details on the back of the post cards as to whom the people are.

Simon.
