Default A mystery and an opinion or two

Sorting through a big pile of badges in a drawer and came across these lovely wee things. (Well the Lowland Regiment maybe not) and I thought I would again return to the bosom of knowledge.

The small gilt crown with Lion and Baton is all of 26mm high. - identification needed.

The County of London Yeomanry collar is nice but I think it lacks detail on the rifles.

The Lowland Regiment feels very light and cheap a la 1970's re-strike but may be good.

The crown with lion and staves is the 1954-57 badge of the South African Staff Corps (up to rank of brigadier).

Arthur is correct about the lion & crown badge though it is a collar.

The Lowland looks bad to me, genuine ones usually have 4 lugs if I remember correctly.

Cheers,

Alex

I absolutely love the wee South African one.

The Lowland Regiment feels like it should be an Eastern European car badge.

Happy with the feedback on the CLY collar.

Thanks again for knowing all of the stuff I don't
