Default "ROYAL GLASGOW YEOMANRY" -three piece badge/title set

Ahoy Sleuths!

Attached are pictures of a three-piece set of badges/titles that spell out "ROYAL GLASGOW YEOMANRY" .

Measurements are :
ROYAL 53 mm X 13 mm (approx 2 1/16 inches X 1/2 inch)
GLASGOW 88 mm X 13 mm (approx 3 7/16 inches X 1/2 inch)
YEOMANRY 97 mm X 13 mm (approx 3 3/4 inches X 1/2 inch)
All are of 2 mm thickness

Each piece is made of brass and fitted on the ends with lugs of the standard British style commonly used in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries (i.e they look like little capital "D" on short stems, rounded on the outside and flat on the inside).

If anyone could identify the purpose and use of these badges, I'd be most obliged. Thank you.

Best to all!

Tim
