London Yeomanry?

This badge was recently received off feebay on the other side of the big waters. The closest I could come, after a couple of hours on the internet, was London Yeomanry.
I would appreciate any thoughts.

It appears to be the central device off an officer rectangular waist belt clasp.

Victorian crown and is the Arms of the City of London I think.

Possibly City of London Royal Engineers (Volunteers), but thats just a best guess.

Can't vouch for the provenance of the particlar badge shown, but the design appears (I think) to be that of the Royal London Militia.
