Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy? Best regards, Mike

Hi Ken, thanks for reply. I'm guessing the seller's use of the word 'scarce' is something of an understatement? I shall watch with interest. Best regards, Mike

The frontal detail looks fine and the extra-long slider looks good too but the lack of detail on the reverse would put me off. The area at the back of the title scroll looks iffy, it looks almost smooth, unless it's a trick of the light.

So what would you say its real worth is? or is it a matter of how much you want one, is it that scarce even?

Mike

Worth is an enduring question In this case £30 which is more than I would normally pay for a Corps badge. It's not a badge that I have seen many of so I bought it.

Mike, You've hit the nail on the head, if this badge came up for sale in Auction at let's say £30 How much would you actually bid on it ??
I was one of 5 bidders mate and set myself a rather high bid, expecting to win, but it then ended at more than double the bid I placed.
Someone with very deep pockets won and I congratulate them as they can afford it, .... me ? I'll wait for another one to come around and maybe get it for 30p.

Alan, You must buy at auctions, cos if I found that badge for £50 I'd be waking up in hospital after a heart palpitation.
You are a very lucky, lucky guy.
PS If you find another one, I'll give you £50 for it, ......

Apologies for the slight digression, but these are superbly photographed, Thomas. Very impressive.

Thank you JT, good semi professional camera, good lens, tripod and a little bit of photoshop magic is all it takes.

Rgds, Thomas.
