Australian Camel corps badge

I would appreciate any thoughts about this Australian Camel Corps badge I came across. I have not seen one like this before.

Certainly a "öne-off". Anyone could have made it up, including the cameliers themselves. Impossible to prove its authenticity. The flatback rising sun badge is non-standard and not what the AIF wore, although it could be argued that a backstreet Egyptian produced it.
